Local Environmental is led by Cortney Stevenson, offering extensive & diverse experience in the environmental field. I'm an avid hiker and a general explorer of the outdoors. My scientific interests center around terrestrial and aquatic ecosystem dynamics.

Since graduating from the University of Georgia with a Bachelor's Degree in Environmental Science, I've spent many years working as a professional environmental scientist in public and private sectors. To further my knowledge of natural systems, I am enrolled in the Crop & Soil Science Master's Program at UGA.
